California Healthy Kids Survey
The Moraga School District administers the California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS) every other year to students in grades 5 and grade 7. The survey is sponsored by the California Department of Education and is the largest statewide survey of protective factors, resiliency, and at risk behaviors in the nation. Across California, the CHKS has led to a better understanding of the relationship between student health behavior and academic performance. Results help guide the development of more effective health, prevention and youth development programs. The survey is anonymous and confidential.
