Do you want something to do while your children are in school? Are you recently retired but need to keep busy? Do you want to make a difference in a child's life? Be a substitute teacher for the Moraga School District!
You can create a flexible schedule and work at any school site you wish. We are a small school district with great teams of teachers. New substitute teachers are welcomed all year long.
Requirements:

Must have a Bachelor's degree or higher (Official Transcripts required)

Fingerprinting Required for the California Teaching Commission
The Human Resources department will assist you in expediting the process.
NEW SUBSTITUTE TEACHER RATES
- $205 - Daily Rate
- $215 - Moraga Retiree/Active Teacher Substitute
- ACE 03, Step 1 Per Diem - Long Term Substitute Rate effective after the 20th day of substituting in the same assignment, retroactive to the 1st day (Per Diem = Annual Salary/# of teacher days
